Building Strong Foundations Through Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Housing Support
The PF Changes Inc. programs and initiatives provide transitional support to young adults and create possibilities they might not receive elsewhere. Alongside The Architecture Cohort, participants can establish long-term independence and success through our resources, including mentorship, housing stability resources, mental health advocacy, LGBTQIA+ youth support, financial literacy for young adults, and other youth development programs. PF Changes Inc. believes that preparation for independence and leadership begins before the transition into the real world.
Take a closer look at some of the programs that will equip young adults for life:
Our Programs

Mentorship Programs
Mentorship is a crucial part of healthy development and success, especially for youths navigating challenging transitions. Mentors fill gaps in many young people’s support networks and help them overcome the challenges they face. Mentors also instill a strong sense of belonging and can improve young people’s self-confidence, academic performance, healthy identity development, and positive engagement with their environment.
Participants in the PF Changes Inc. mentorship programs will have a dedicated mentor who best suits their needs and is ready to provide emotional support, guidance, and valuable experiences to help youth succeed and achieve their goals.

Mental Health Awareness
Young adults worldwide suffer from a decline in their mental health, affecting their professional and personal development. Almost 46% of young adults ages 18-25 had either a mental illness or a substance use disorder in 2024.
It is important to normalize help-seeking and teach participants how to identify stress, triggers, and trauma responses and discover healthy routines that support their needs. PF Changes Inc. supports mental health education, referrals, peer support, and connectedness programming, even in high-income areas, because mental health struggles do not discriminate by socioeconomic status.
You are not broken. You need support, structure, and tools to ensure you take care of yourself holistically.

Leadership & Life Skills Development
“So what do I do now?”
Too many young people ask this question because they are thrown into the real world without thorough preparation for what comes next. It is surprisingly easy to become disoriented in everyday decision-making without knowing the first steps toward a fruitful existence. Becoming an adult should not be a trial-by-fire situation; young adults deserve to know how to navigate the world confidently and be primed for what’s to come.
PF Changes Inc. offers a safe environment for future leaders to develop self-assurance and strengthen core life skills, including time and money management, flexibility, and self-control. Additionally, the development programs cover skills that may be overlooked, including how to write a check, how to do laundry properly, what to look for when renting an apartment or buying a car, and other mundane tasks that individuals may not think about but need to know.
Financial Literacy Education
Budgeting? Investing? Loan debt?
Financial decisions in early adulthood can have long-term consequences, and many young people’s only source of capital guidance is through observation. To avoid financial abuse and insecurity, young adults need financial literacy education to master essential money management skills.
PF Changes Inc. provides comprehensive yet easy-to-follow lessons that break down everything you need to know about your money and how to use it. You don’t know what you don’t know, so a better understanding of your finances and what they can do for you is the key to making your money last longer and funding your life’s ambitions.

Career Readiness Development
There is a gap between adult expectations and adult readiness, which is a service lane PF Changes Inc. can address. What you assume your future life will look like sometimes doesn’t align with reality, or it changes as you discover who you are and your life’s purpose. As young adults form their identities and recognize their unique talents and passions, the natural next step is to decide where to go from there and create a logical career plan.
Early workforce exposure helps young adults explore which occupations interest them most. Whether you are choosing a corporate position, mastering a trade, or pursuing entrepreneurship, our career readiness training provides essential workforce resources. It helps you practice new skills, including resume building, interview preparation, career pathway mapping, and mock employer/partner sessions.
Community Outreach Opportunities
Participating in community outreach strengthens the bonds young adults have in their local area. Going beyond fulfilling a community service requirement boosts personal growth, empathy, and a better understanding of diverse cultures and groups within your community. It is also an opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and support causes that align with your values, turning empathy into direct, positive impact.
Furthermore, active community participation by young adults also promotes deeper mindfulness of local issues and kick-starts a lifetime of informed servitude. PF Changes Inc. is committed to giving back and provides opportunities that create meaningful impact for participants and the communities that receive services.

Citizen Reentry Program
Reentry is not just a legal issue. Young adults transitioning out of the prison system face unique challenges that can interfere with reintegrating into modern life. Unfortunately, there is a stigma surrounding individuals who have been incarcerated, causing subsequent issues like criminal record barriers, housing restrictions, relapse and recidivism risk, unemployment, and missed probation/parole obligations.
Every person deserves the chance to get their life back on track. For many young adults coming out of the prison system, citizen reentry programs like this one will be their first time gaining a sense of autonomy, which can be overwhelming when dealt with alone. PF Changes Inc. aspires to show reentry citizens that a criminal record is not the end of their story – there is room for a new chapter.
